The San Diego Chorus is comprised of women ages 18 to 80, with a variety of musical education and experience.
We're just like you! Members come from all over San Diego. (We even have members that travel from Arizona, Hawaii and Great Britain!) to sing and enjoy the lasting friendships made here. We are doctors, nurses, homemakers, teachers, IT professionals, etc., and come from all musical backgrounds.
We invite all singers who are looking for a place to be a part of a wonderful sisterhood filled with music, laughter and camaraderie to join us for an open audition.
Under the direction of Master Director, Kim Hulbert, each rehearsal is a lesson in vocal and performance skills. Along with musical development, San Diego Chorus offers creative opportunities in areas like choreography, costume design and scripting. Leadership opportunities are available for any member.
We conduct the initial visitor's audition during our rehearsals, Wednesdays in Balboa Park, between the hours of 6:45 PM and 9:45 PM.
